Perfect peace is found in God and not in our circumstances or situation which is changeable. Today as I was worshipping God, I saw a picture of a big storm, a hurricane. As the hurricane passed over there was “peace” at the eye of the storm. However, people know from experience that this peace is a “false peace” because the rest of the storm is still to pass over. In whatever our circumstances, we could be deceived into thinking a temporary lull is the answer to our prayers and relax. We may not then be prepared for the rest of the storm. I sense God is warning us not to be deceived by a false peace but to remain watchful and seek Him. To fix our eyes on Him. To continue to pray and intercede as the Holy Spirit leads us. Seek Him in all situations for Godly wisdom and discernment so that we continue to press in and do not relax our prayers. Keep pressing in.

I am a 52 year old wife and mother of two daughters. I have been married for 27 years. I became a Christian in 1976 and was baptised in the Holy Spirit in 1977. I love Jesus and want to encourage and hopefully inspire fellow believers and others to follow Christ and grow in the knowledge of God through Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. I am passionate about prayer and want to step into all God has for me to do for Him. I hope my posts are a blessing. View all posts by seeingliketheeagle
