Fresh Bread (2) Sharing

My post yesterday about Fresh Bread was because this is not the first time the Lord has spoken to me on this theme, so I want to re-share more of the same, as we fix our eyes on Jesus, the true bread of life who was broken for us all.

Whilst worshipping, I had a vision of Jesus. It was so beautiful that I started crying. The Lord was seated behind a long table. He had his arms outstretched to the side as wide as possible and his face was gentle and welcoming. He was looking straight at me.

I couldn’t see the end of the table on either side, as it was so long, but I knew that Jesus was seated at the middle of the table.

The table was empty other than a beautiful white tablecloth that covered it. This puzzled me initially but then I understood.

The Lord has fresh bread for us every day and not just enough for us but also to take and share with others. The Lord wants to use us to nourish others.

We are to take from His table not just for ourselves, to fill us, but to share with others too.

Jesus is the Lord of provision and multiplication.

Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh? Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.”
Isaiah 58:7-8

But He said to them, “You give them something to eat.” And they said, “We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless we go and buy food for all these people.” For there were about five thousand men. Then He said to His disciples, “Make them sit down in groups of fifty.” And they did so, and made them all sit down. Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.
Luke 9:13-17

This week ahead I pray for opportunities to share with others the good news of Jesus and the fresh bread of heaven.

I pray that we may be a storehouse of provision to help those in need.

Lord supply what is needed so that we may help others and show your love, compassion and kindness. Amen 🙏

    Note the sequence of events.

    He took and blessed…..Salvation

He broke…our will needs to be broken

He gave…only after we’re broken can we be given to the multitudes
