Being obedient..prayer for the week ahead 4/3/26

“Then his servants approached and spoke to him, saying, “My father, had the prophet told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more then, when he says to you, ‘Wash, and be clean’?” So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, in accordance with the word of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.”
2 Kings 5.13-14

Dear Lord God, our Father in heaven this week we pray that we will learn as Naaman did to put pride aside and obey you in completeness and simplicity as you direct. Not over-complicating or thinking we know best. Let us have humble hearts to do as you say and follow where you lead. As Jesus humbled himself and was obedient in all things, let our hearts be soft and may there be no pride to be a stumbling block to seeing your will come to pass in our lives this week. Amen 🙏
