The Alarm Clock..

The last couple of days this sound of an alarm clock has been resounding on a morning. Not my alarm clock but the sound of an alarm clock in my dreams again. I heard it again today.

It’s time to wake up as believers in Christ and be alert and prepared for what and where the Lord is leading and calling today and in the days to come.

Today my blog alert reminder from the archives was also timely “Awake, “Awake” so I am posting the links to my previous posts on awakening below as I believe these are not coincidences but the Holy Spirit’s promptings.

    I too hear that call to awake, Nicola, not as a fear, but as a call to action: to eliminate distractions, focusing on what matters most. Difficult, but doable. God has given us both the control and encouragement to read our Bibles and pray. That daily combination awakens us to meditate on what matters most. Then, our thoughts, choices, words, and actions harmonize with God’s will, not the world’s.
