“For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord God. “Therefore turn and live!” Ezekiel 18:32 NKJV
God’s heart of mercy and love is shown in these bible verses.
God wants people to turn from their wicked ways and back to Him. To turn around which is what repentance simply means.
There are many people heading along the wide path to death and destruction.
God takes no pleasure in that.
How heaven rejoices when one person turns from their ways to follow Jesus.
“Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
Luke 15:10 NKJV
Turn and live by accepting Jesus and following Him.
True life, eternal life, starts now when you accept Jesus Christ.
That is life.
We don’t have to wait until we are dead to experience eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
In Jesus we are truly alive every day by the Spirit of God in us.
When preaching judgment let us always always remember mercy.
God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked.
Our hearts must be aligned with God in this, desiring that all hear the truth and turn from their wicked ways and find Jesus.
May our hearts and prayers be quickened with a compassion and burden for those who do not know Jesus.
The time is running short and what a tragedy when it truly is too late and there is no time to choose life not death and judgment is at the door.
Don’t delay in turning to Jesus and choosing life not death.
Choose life today.
