Truth and direction..

As I shared in my last post Sanctified in truth..the Lord has been speaking to me about truth.

I was so very encouraged and challenged to then read two posts which are also on this message of truth which I would recommend.

The first by Rainer highlighted the subtle danger of compromise to me and to check where we are aligning through silence.

The Subtle Erosion of Conviction

The second post by Chris was about truth and direction. When we do not have truth, we lose direction.

We live in days when God’s truth, His Holy Word is being neglected, ignored and twisted.

As disciples of Jesus we are called to contend for truth.

These are days when we need to be aligned with God’s truth to keep our feet on the straight path.

When the Lord starts to stir my heart and convict me about truth, it is no coincidence that I see other posts on the same theme. I can choose to ignore the message or I can humbly submit and ask the Lord to search me, try me and show me where I am not being shaped and led by His truth, where I am compromising and where I am not on His path.

Lord help me to have your truth in my inward parts, each part of me, each part of my life so I can confidently proclaim and declare the truth of your Word and the gospel of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour.

    The Table of Compromise
    I had a dream last night where I saw a very large table. There were people constantly getting up and sitting down like one would see at a restaurant. However, this table had a name written accross it in big black letters the word, “compromise”,. The people in the dream would bring their Bibles, open them and lay them down on the table, and an evil wind would blow over them and ruffle them. Then I saw pages of Bibles being ripped out without hands. As a page was ripped out it would vanish into thin air. It seemed that the pages being ripped out were tailored to the individual who placed their Bible on the table.

    My thoughts:

    Just because one wishes to ignore commandments of the Lord to tickle their itching eats doesn’t make them go away thus making the individual unaccountable for his/her actions. Those who sat at the table saw the word, ” compromise “, written on it in big bold black lettering and still chose to sit at the table. Those who take a seat at this table will be without excuse on judgement day

    False Prophet Coming
    I had a dream where i was standing in the back of I’m guessing was a church. I saw at the pulpit an individual introducing a figure who was supposed to be Jesus but wasn’t. I saw the words, “false prophet”, written across the forhead of the man standing at the pulpit. Remember that this was my observation from the back of the building. Then I was standing behind the false prophet and was shown those seated in the pews. What I saw was people who looked as though they’d been hypnotized or under a trance.

    The Word says that the elect cannot be deceived.

    Matthew 24:24
    For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

    The elect, as I read it, are those who remain faithful to the end.

    Mat 24:11 — Mat 24:13
    Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he wokho endures to the end shall be saved.

    Deception is a scarry place to be being that one who is deceived doesnt realize it even though one shows him/her through the word that they are in error. Prayer is the only thing that can break this.

    As to why I was shown this and not the people seated is because the Lord opened my eyes and not because I’m anything special.

    In these last days it would be foolish to rely on any anointing and/or gifting one thinks that they may have and not on the Lord.

    The scripture passage from Matthew i quote above follows an extremely important passage that I will post below

    Matthew 24:10
    And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

    Notice the steps.

    Offense

    An offense not dealt with festers and then beyrayal and hatred follow it is afterwards, in verse 11 that it says them false prophets will arise and deceive many. Offence unforgiven makes one vulnerable to heading the words of the false prophet (s). Remember what Jesus said about forgiveness. If you want to be forgiven you must forgive.

    In the dream I heard, “warn My people”, which is the reason for the post.
