I woke this morning with this question I heard in my spirit from the Lord “why are you seeking the living among the dead?”
These words are from Luke 24:5-6 NKJ The disciples had gone to look for Jesus in the tomb where he had last been seen. The tomb is empty and the angels say “why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen”
I believe that this is a question that the Lord is asking us as His followers today.
Why are you looking for the living amongst the dead.
As I say, I woke in the early hours hearing those words in my spirit and as I have prayed the Lord has spoken further. I believe the Lord is speaking to someone in this word. This is a heavy word to my heart. Please weigh and test. If the Lord is speaking to you through this word then pray. Pray it through with a trusted friend.
There are many of My people who have been trapped in places where My Spirit has left. I have risen and departed but My people have not noticed. They have been deceived by a false presence, a false anointing and a false spirit.
These are the days to ask yourselves – why am I looking for the living amongst the dead.
What fruit do you see My children.
Do you see growth of My fruit.
Is the fruit of the Spirit evident amongst you.
Is there life.
Is there the life of Christ in your midst.
Is there the life of Christ modelled and shown in your midst.
Are you looking for the living amongst the dead.
If so, you need to discern if I am in that place.
If not then just as I have departed so you too need to depart – for My Spirit, My glory has left that place.
The glory has departed.
The time has come to realise that the place you stand in is a place of death, a place of dry bones and the Spirit of the Lord has departed.
Why are you looking for the presence of your Lord and Saviour in such a place. Depart and leave behind the former things for He is not there.
He has risen.
He has moved and departed from that place of sin and is there no more.
He who has ears let him hear what the Spirit is saying. Amen.
