Purpose..prayer for the week ahead

“Now when it was day, He departed and went into a deserted place. And the crowd sought Him and came to Him, and tried to keep Him from leaving them; but He said to them, “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, because for this purpose I have been sent.”

Father God, today and in this coming week may we discover and continue to discover our purpose in our relationship with you, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Help us not to be distracted by others from our purpose even when their intentions are good but help us to keep our eyes fixed on you and our ears attentive to your call and leading. Thank you that you give each one of us purpose. We were created to bring you glory and for good works. Give us opportunity this week to help others discover their true purpose in life especially those who feel they have no purpose. Amen 🙏
