“My beloved spoke, and said to me: “
“Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away. For lo, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; The time of singing has come, And the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth her green figs, And the vines with the tender grapes give a good smell. Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away!”
Song of Solomon 2:10-13 NKJV
Has the season of life changed and it’s time to recognise it’s a new season and rise up.
Has that winter season passed now.
Has that dry season passed.
Is it your time of greatest fruitfulness coming.
Lord give us ears to hear and eyes to see the season we are in.
May we discern the season so we know if it is:
A time to plough,
A time to sow our seed,
A time to build bigger barns,
A time to prepare for harvest,
A time to harvest,
A time for a new song to be sung.
Are we still singing the same song of the past and the Lord wants to give a new song for this season.
May we have ears to hear the call of our Lord to His bride in this season.
Where is He calling us to go?
What is He calling us to do?
The season has changed.
The time of singing has surely come.
