Ambassadors for God..prayer

“The Israelites ascribed things to the Lord their God which were not true. 2Kings.17.9

Father God help us to be true and faithful ambassadors of your son Jesus and you, our God.

Forgive us when we do not represent you as you truly are according to how you are revealed to us in Scripture and the Living Word.

Forgive us when we say things about you that are not true or ascribe things to you which are not true.

Teach us your ways and keep us faithful witnesses of you Lord.

Open our eyes to the truth and correct us when we have a wrong or incomplete understanding and knowledge of you Lord.

Correct us when we think or ascribe something to you which is not true.

Keep us on the right path Lord and do not allow us to be deceived.

We want to ascribe greatness and worth and honour to our mighty God reflecting you today Lord.
