Petitioning…

Petitions and petitioning is a call to action to seek change in a situation or situations from someone in power.

The more people who sign a petition the better in terms of swaying governmental authority as it shows a desire amongst a large group of the people for change to happen.

There are lots of things happening that I want to see changed.

There are lots of things happening to those in our families, our friends, our community that my church fellowship wants to see changed.

There are lots of things happening in this world that the body of Christ wants to see changed.

Prayer is powerful.

God has the power to bring about change, miraculous change.

In this season, the bible verses and words from the Lord are encouraging us to keep petitioning, to keep knocking, to keep going collectively and not give up.

To encourage each other to keep praying and bringing these situations before His throne and trusting God.

David cried out to the Lord:

“Let my cry come before You, O Lord;Give me understanding according to Your word. Let my supplication come before You;Deliver me according to Your word.”
Psalm 119.169/170 NKJV

Let our collective cries come up before our God as we contend for those people and situations that our on our hearts.

We will keep contending.

We take comfort and confidence knowing that Jesus makes intercession for us too.

“Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”
Hebrews 7.25 NKJV

Let us be encouraged today to Keep petitioning, Keep persevering and most of all Keep praying.🙏

May God grant us understanding in these days and may His Will be done.

Let our prayers overflow before our Father in Heaven.

“Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.”
