A sound came from heaven…

Before the Holy Spirit came and filled the believers at Pentecost there was first a sound from heaven of a mighty, powerful wind that filled the whole place.

“And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.” Acts.2.2 NKJV

What is the sound from heaven that we need to hear today?

What is the sound from heaven that the Lord wants us to hear today?

Is it the sound of the angelic host and all heaven singing and praising Jesus, the lamb upon the throne.

The only worthy one.

“Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands saying with a loud voice:

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing”

Revelation 5 11-12 NKJV

Is it the constant sound of Heaven’s voices declaring God’s holiness and eternal mighty power.

“The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:“Holy, holy, holy,Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!”

Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:

You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.”
Revelation 4.8-11 NKJV

Or is it the prayer that Jesus prays before His Father’s throne in intercession for you and I? The sound of Jesus’ intercession for us, His church, His bride.

“Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”
Hebrews 7.25 NKJV

Or is it those words “Well done good and faithful servant”

“His lord said to him, ‘Well good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.” Matthew 25.21NKJV

What do you hear from heaven today?

I hear the sound of all heaven rejoicing over you and I who once were lost but now are found. Who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus and will be with God forever and ever.
