Bearing the maker’s mark..

Last week the Lord impressed these words to me, that we “Bear the Maker’s Mark”.

The Lord showed me a picture of an incredibly old vase that was being taken to an antique dealer to be valued.

The first thing that the dealer did was to turn the vase upside down and check it’s maker’s mark.

The mark was important as it determined the vase’s authenticity and its rarity and then it’s value.

The Lord reminded me that in accepting Jesus, and being adopted as God’s children, we bear the “Maker’s Mark” as we are sealed with the Holy Spirit.

We are authentic…we are the real deal.

We are incredibly valuable, significant and precious in God’s sight.

We are uniquely created in Him.

In past times, wax seals imprinted with the King’s seal were affixed to documents to show that they were authentic.

We have been sealed with the Holy Spirit my dear friends and we bear the “Maker’s Mark”.

“In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of the promise, who is a first installment of our inheritance, in regard to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1.13,14 NASB

Have a blessed day.

We bear the authentic mark of the crucified life of Jesus in us. The Father sees Jesus in us and afdopts us as his children. We have the fragrance of Jesus making us authentic.

Hallelujah for our Maker’s mark on our lives Nicola! Another similar aspect regarding paintings is whether one looks like previous work of that artist, that it has a family resemblance. Do we bear a family resemblance to our Father God and our Lord His Son; can others see Jesus within us today? God bless you today sister 🙏
