Active doers..prayer for the week ahead 29/7

“But one who has looked intently at the perfect law, the law of freedom, and has continued in it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an active doer, this person will be blessed in what he does.”
James 1.25 NASB

“Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me – put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” Phil.4.9 NIVUK

Father God, we pray this week that we will not be forgetful hearers, but if we have then through your Holy Spirit bring to our remembrance your Word, your Ways and your Kingdom and may we never forget who we are now through faith in Jesus, so we may be active participants and workers in showing your righteous ways to those we meet in all the places we find ourselves this week. Amen
