Take My Hand..

These are the encouraging words that the Lord has spoken to our church fellowship over recent weeks through the Holy Spirit. It has been said separately through various people at different times each bringing Isaiah 41 and particularly verse 10.

“So do not fear, for I am with you;do not be dismayed, for I am your God.I will strengthen you and help you;I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”

Interestingly, I have also read some blog posts recently on the same verses and theme.

Today in our worship time the word came from this passage in Isaiah.

“When you pass through the waters,I will be with you;and when you pass through the rivers,they will not sweep over you” Isaiah 43.2NIVUK

The Lord said to keep our eyes fixed on Him but that even if, like Peter, we look down at the waves, God will stretch out His Hand for us to take hold of. He will not let us go. Our names are inscribed on the palms of His hands. We are His beloveds. His cherished ones. He has us covered.

Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy to us. Your unfailing love and faithfulness are constant and true.

Let us reach out our hand today and put our hand in the hand of God. There is no safer hands to be in than His.
