“A place you cannot see; your view is obstructed”
Uncovering the blind spots in our hearts and minds.
These are spots that we do not see or want to see.
Perhaps caused by stains of hurts, or pain and anguish.
Buried deep in hearts.
Spots of sorrow and grief, spots of anger, spots of pride, rejection, unforgiveness, jealousy, bitterness.
Blinded to them,
Blinded by them.
They become our blind spots.
They obstruct our view of others.
They obstruct our view of Truth.
Blind spots need to be BEHIND spots.
Things to put behind us; forgetting the past and straining forward towards the high prize in Christ Jesus – the hope of glory.
If not:
Blind spots can become BIND spots.
They bind our thoughts.
They bind our behaviours.
They bind our hearts.
They bind our minds.
They blind us and obscure the Truth of all Jesus has accomplished for us through His death and resurrection revealed in Scripture.
Jesus the light of the world come shine upon and expose our blind spots. Let us turn to you and be healed and set free.
“But everything exposed by the light becomes visible – and everything that is illuminated becomes a light.”
Ephesians 5.13 NIVUK
