Prayer for the week ahead 29/1

“More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them mere rubbish, so that I may gain Christ” Phil.3.8

Dear Father in heaven, this week help us to really understand what the Apostle Paul meant about the true value of material things in our life compared to the true riches of knowing and having Jesus and you in our lives. Show us where we value material things or worldly knowledge above you or find our value in these things rather than in you. Amen
