Are you ready?

This was the word that the Lord brought to us in church this morning in our time of worship.

Are you ready?

It was a question posed to each of us individually to consider.

The Lord has a purpose and plan for each of us.

When the Lord calls us….are we ready?

When the Lord returns…are we ready?

It got me thinking.

What am I ready for?

What am I not ready for?

In my journey of faith…am I preparing myself to be ready by getting to know Jesus more each day.

Do I live each day as though Jesus is coming back tomorrow.

Am I ready to answer His call.

Am I ready to give an answer for the hope I have.

Am I ready?

    I had a dream in 2017 where, like the one posted the day before, I saw Jesus on the throne with a sickle in His right hand. However, this time His eyes were not on the world but on the church. I saw Him weeping and could feel that His heart was heavy. When I saw what was going on inside the church I understood why. What I saw was people dancing like one would see in a square dance, not that I am saying square dancing is evil. What I am saying is is that I felt the Lord’s grief because the church is ignorant of the hour, the day, or the season that it is in. As He was looking at the church i heard the words, “they’re not ready”

    In another part of the dream I saw Jesus standing outside of the building called church which begs the question if Jesus was outside why would anyone want to go in. It sounds much like the Laodicean where Jesus was on the outside as well. In the dream I saw Jesus standing on the outside as I stated above, However, He had a sickle in His right hand and I saw Him trying to give it to the people entering the building called church but they totally ignored Him and proceeded to go into the building.

    The body needs to know the hour, the day, and the season that is upon us. The Word clearly says that My people perish because of lack of knowledge.

    A good question Nicola, we know that Jesus is going to come but do we live like that every single day, not necessarily.
