Faithful Feet..

Our sermon today from our Pastor was about the women who went to Jesus’ tomb to anoint his body with oil.

He entitled it Faithful Feet.

It was an encouraging message that there will inevitably be problems ahead for all of us in our journey of faith…there will be the stones in the way of our path that will try to obstruct us. Those stones will come in all different shapes and sizes.

The women knew before they left that there was a stone to be rolled away but they set off anyway. They had faithful feet..

Keep walking in faith. There will always be problems ahead. Trust God with them.

No stone, no problem can stop what God has ordained for your life.

God will roll away that stone.

Keep moving ahead with Feet of Faith.

Thank you. I can’t take the credit for this one though as inspired by my Pastor.

With Christ as our Cornerstone, we do not stumble over the Rock that makes the rebellious, disobedient, lawless under fallen Adam, fathered by lies, the devil, “under the god of this world who blinds minds” fall; those in “unbelief” apart from Christ, are unable to see “the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, the exact image and likeness of God” therefore they stumble and fall; but God is able to keep us from falling and present us to Himself (Jude 24), established and built up on the Rock of Ages, now Risen Jesus, asking and receiving Him, rooted and grounded and built up in Him, standing firm, immoveable, unshakable on The Rock of the Word of God by His Spirit! thank you Jesus!

Stepping out without knowing all the stops ahead is the very beating heart of faith.

This same thought came in one of my devotional readings this morning: No word from God will ever fail.

The context was how Elizabeth (mother of John the Baptist) and Mary (mother of Jesus Christ) both believed what the angel said would happen—though it seemed impossible. Thank you for echoing this truth; it is truly an answer to prayer.

That is an excellent application of your Pastor’s illustration. How often we know obstacles that lie ahead of us, but we must apply faith in God with our walk. In Him we are more than conquerors!
