Morning everyone, today’s post is a picture which my friend, Heather shared with me recently. She was in church and it was during the worship time, she saw this picture.
The scene was the back stage of a theatre in the dressing rooms. There are rails of costumes, the actors arrive – take off their own clothes and put on their allotted costume.
Some are important ones of high ranking for the prestigious parts, some are more lowly maybe servants or downbeats.
As they dress in their roles and get made up they go out to play their part on stage.
The Lord said to me look over there! and I saw a rail of royal robes all the very same and very regal.
These are the robes for the Saints, the set apart ones, who know My name.
As I got closer there was all the names on them and there was no difference between any of them.
The Lord said take yours and put it on and go out to your stage (the world) and do your part.
You don’t have to return your robe – it’s yours.
It’s a royal seal of who we are in this world.
1 Peter 2 v 9 “you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the Praises of Him who called you out of darkness into wonderful light”
Thank you Lord this is our inheritance for us who believe. We are dressed in royal robes to be Ambassadors for Christ.
What an honour. Amen
