Right but not right?

Hi everyone, I hope you are all having a good weekend. I just wanted to post some words of wisdom which a friend shared recently.

Our friend had been praying about a difficult situation she had encountered. She had felt justified in her behaviour and the actions she had taken. However, as she prayed about the course of events the Lord convicted her that although what she did was “right” her attitude towards it had been bad. Wow.

Those words really hit home to my friend. She had done the right thing but her attitude was not right.

How subtle that we can sometimes justify our bad attitudes because we know we have acted right.

Our prayer today. Lord reveal the true condition of our hearts so that we do right in the right way. We thank you for your grace every day and your mercies which are new every morning. Amen 🙏
