Lost your way?

Do you feel that you have lost your way in life or in your Christian walk. You may be in need of some re-direction or the confidence and re-assurance that you are on the right path.

Perhaps you have lost some of your passion for the ways of God or the path you are walking. Have you lost that spring in your step or the joy you once had. I hope that you will take courage and be inspired and stirred up by these promises to you from God’s word today.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

“Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.” Psalm 25:4-5

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.” Isaiah 43:2

Father God, we pray for all those today who need your direction in their lives or confidence that they are on the right path. The reassurance that you are with them in all circumstances of life. As your Word says, You are the one who will direct our paths. You are always with us, whether in the good times or in the difficult times of trouble and testing. Help us to trust in You to lead us and guide us in all our ways. Renew our passion for Your ways and the work you have called us to do. Lead us on your pathway of truth as we follow your son, Jesus and his example. Amen
