This is a very thought provoking post today on the #livelent series and I recommend a read. You can access it from the link below. It tells the story of the blind beggar Bartimeaus who hears from others that Jesus is passing and Calls out to him. His call gets Jesus’ attention and although it is obvious he is blind, Jesus still asks him “What do you want”?
Jesus is encouraging us today and saying to each one of us “What do you want”? Tell Jesus the desires of your heart.
Let’s not automatically assume that we always know what others want either. It’s good to ask that question of them without jumping to conclusions. We may be surprised.
