Time is for our benefit

As I was praying this morning I felt the Lord say the following:

Today is the day.

There is always a Today. What you choose to do with your Today is the key.

A day is important. It is written – a day with the Lord is as a thousand years.

God works outside of time. God made time for us.

Time is a record. Time is set.

God created time for our benefit.

A day is important. It has a start and it has an end. It is set.

The sun rises and the sun sets. It is fixed. God has set the boundaries of time and He sees the start from the end.

As it is said – “I am the Alpha and the Omega” –

What is it that God requires of you & I today? That is the question.

What will you do with your today?

The Lord says – I have asked the question and you will answer by your actions.

Will you redeem the time God has given you?

The Lord says that He has told His people that the days are short. This is the time to keep your eyes fixed on the King – to serve the King, Jesus with humble hearts.

To do the thing the Lord has asked of you.

What does the King, Jesus, require of you today – to act justly, to love mercy, to show love, to walk humbly with your God.

Redeem today before it is too late for one day you will give an account to Him for all the days alloted to you. Spend them wisely.

Redeem the time for the days are short.

Amen

Micah 6:8 “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God”.

Psalm 90:4 “A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night”

2 Peter 3:8 “But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.”

  1. I would hear people say things like the day got away from them or that they wish they had more time.

God gives us 24 hours in a day. We have to use our time wisely. Be good stewards of time. Most of the time we waste it by doing what is not good.

Thanks for sharing this. Blessings to you.

    • Yes I agree. Using our time wisely. It’s something I’m learning more about. The wisdom to use my time in the right way and not waste it. I think saying no to things is the hardest bit and discerning when something is just time wasting x
