  • The Fountain & Water Gates

The Fountain Gate –   Nehemiah repaired the Fountain Gate.   This gate reminds me of Jesus – who is the fountain of living water- and also the daily power of the Holy Spirit working in our lives.    There is a living well of spiritual water for us to draw from daily.    It is an inexhaustible supply that will…

  • The refining fire

As I was fasting and praying, I believe I heard in the spirit, the Lord, Jesus saying the following;  The day is coming when My fire, My breath will blow across this land.  Great swathes of the land will catch fire and the fire will spread.   Those who submit themselves to the fire of my holiness and…

  • The invitation- pass it on.

The words of Isaiah 55 remind us of God’s invitation to abundant life.  Jesus issues this invitation to all – regardless of race, gender, creed or colour – everyone is welcome.  Jesus calls people to come to Him – everyone who is weary, thirsty or hungry – only He can satisfy and give us true life in all its…

No one comes to the Father except through me” In Christ alone we can confidently come before God’s throne. Hebrews 4:14 – Therefore, since we have…

  • Prayer – What’s in a name? Part 1

KNOW YOUR GOD – To be effective in prayer we need to know: WHO we are praying to; in WHOSE name we pray; and the AUTHORITY and POSITION we have in CHRIST : One of the main purposes of prayer is to develop our relationship with God by actively seeking/pursuing HIS FACE through the person…

  • Prayer – Let’s be inspired

We are in a season where God is calling His people to pray and intercede being inspired and empowered by His Holy Spirit.    I am going to post a series of notes which I used some years ago when leading some prayer workshops.  The aim was to encourage believers to pray and help them develop prayer as a lifestyle.  It was also to provide some practical…
