Truth and direction..

As I shared in my last post Sanctified in truth..the Lord has been speaking to me about truth.

I was so very encouraged and challenged to then read two posts which are also on this message of truth which I would recommend.

The first by Rainer highlighted the subtle danger of compromise to me and to check where we are aligning through silence.

The second post by Chris was about truth and direction. When we do not have truth, we lose direction.

We live in days when God’s truth, His Holy Word is being neglected, ignored and twisted.

As disciples of Jesus we are called to contend for truth.

These are days when we need to be aligned with God’s truth to keep our feet on the straight path.

When the Lord starts to stir my heart and convict me about truth, it is no coincidence that I see other posts on the same theme. I can choose to ignore the message or I can humbly submit and ask the Lord to search me, try me and show me where I am not being shaped and led by His truth, where I am compromising and where I am not on His path.

Lord help me to have your truth in my inward parts, each part of me, each part of my life so I can confidently proclaim and declare the truth of your Word and the gospel of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour.
