Seeing but not seeing…our blind spots

We all have blind spots…whether in our understanding, our knowledge or from our experiences. It’s the things that can easily entangle us, distract us and stop us progressing.

Blind Spots are our hidden danger spots.

When we move out in God we need to see clearly any dangers or potential dangers ahead.   

We need God to show us the hidden dangers – some of which can be hidden in plain sight.

It can be safer to stay put…staying in the same lane, coasting along but I believe God is calling us to move out beyond our current frontiers and into new frontiers.  

So we need to ask God to help us recognise and be aware of our blind spots.

Otherwise;

The Blind Spots will become our Bind Spots.. they will stop us moving on and will hold us back.

The Bind Spots need to be our Behind Spots..

We leave them behind – they need to be in our rear view mirror not in the road in front.

We need to move out safely knowing there are no blind spots when God says it is time to move.

“laying aside the sin that so easily entangles us” we press on.
