True judgement..

“His delight is in the fear of the Lord, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭11‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This is the age of miscommunication on a global scale when false news can be spread like a fire so quickly with the breath of fear, hate and resentment fanning the flames.

Painting a false picture to smear those who won’t align themselves with the world’s truth but stand for The Truth, Jesus.

Propaganda, false agendas, fake social media, AI leading people astray, people parading lies for truth and governments that are not trustworthy.

There is no grace for those who will not bend to the world’s ways.

We can so easily fall into the trap of hasty judgments.

Our eyes can deceive us and we can be tricked into believing what is not true and making decisions and acting on false information.

Our ears can be deceived by what we hear..a rumour, gossip, a lie, the spread of misinformation and indoctrination.

People caught in their lies are not even ashamed trying to brazenly pass off lies as of no consequence.

However, we are called to walk differently looking to our redeemer and righteous judge, Jesus.

We give thanks that we have hope in God.

God is the God of truth and justice.

We thank God for Jesus who is the true and righteous judge who is not deceived by sight nor sound.

We thank God for the Spirit of Truth who lives in us and guides us.

We thank God for His Word of Truth.

Our plumb line of truth.

We thank God for the Sword of the Spirit.

We thank God for the helmet of salvation to protect our minds.

Lord help us to guard ourselves against lies and deception using all the tools that you have given to us.

Lead us today along your paths of truth.

Jesus is our living hope.

Let us gird ourselves each day with the belt of truth and stand firm in our faith, holding fast to our confession.

Jesus is King.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
