Prayer for joy in the week ahead..

Dear Father in heaven, hear our prayer today we ask.

May the joy of our salvation and gift of life with you through faith in your son Jesus, His patient enduring of affliction and suffering and His daily example of prayer to you, His Heavenly Father be fixed in our hearts and minds this week.

Holy Spirit come breathe upon us today and empower us to be witnesses of Jesus. Let hope spring up in our hearts afresh and please lift up the heads of those brothers and sisters in Christ who are suffering and oppressed this week. Restore to them the joy of their salvation in the midst of their trials and difficulties. May they hear you rejoicing over them and know the joy that they bring to you through their belief and trust in Jesus your beloved son. Amen 🙏
