Soft hearts…Prayer for the week ahead 7/10/2024

“Take care, brothers and sisters, that there will not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. But encourage one another every day, as long as it is still called “today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ if we keep the beginning of our commitment firm until the end, while it is said,“Today if you hear His voice,Do not harden your hearts, as when they provoked Me.” Hebrews 3.12-15NASB

Today dear Lord let us have soft hearts to receive the conviction of your Word and Spirit so that we will turn away from sin and back to you and be healed and restored. Pour your grace on our hard hearts and may they be turned from hearts of stone to hearts of flesh to receive your forgiveness and grace. Amen.
