Prayer for the week ahead 26/2

“Rescue me from my enemies, my God;

Set me securely on high away from those who rise up against me.

Rescue me from those who practice injustice, and save me from men of bloodshed.

But as for me, I will sing of Your strength; Yes, I will joyfully sing of Your faithfulness in the morning,

For You have been my refuge, and a place of refuge on the day of my distress.

My strength, I will sing praises to You;

For God is my refuge, the God who shows me favor.

Dear Lord and Father in heaven, this is our prayer this week for all who are being oppressed, persecuted and treated wickedly and harshly by others. Lord be their refuge in their darkest times and hasten to rescue them. Be a light and hope to them this week and may they find comfort and joy in praising you and drawing near to you. God of justice may your face shine on them and grant them strength. Let there be a miraculous breakthrough in their circumstances as your favour rests on them. In Jesus’ name we ask. Amen 🙏
