Beware of a false peace…

Yesterday, I was reminded of two words that the Lord impressed on me some years ago. I posted the one yesterday False Manifestations…and this is the other about a “false peace”.

Whilst in a time of worship and prayer, I saw in the spirit a picture of a big storm, a hurricane.

As the hurricane passed overhead there was a time of “peace” at the eye of the storm.

However, people know from experience that this peace is a “false peace” because the rest of the storm is still yet to pass over.

In whatever our circumstances, whether present or future, we could be deceived into thinking a temporary lull is the answer to our prayers and relax.

We may not then be prepared for the rest of the storm which is yet to pass over.

I sense God is warning us not to be deceived by a “false peace” but to remain watchful and seek Him.

To keep our eyes fixed on Him and not the changeable circumstances,

Let us continue to pray and intercede as the Holy Spirit leads us. Seeking Him in all situations for Godly wisdom and discernment so that we continue to press in and do not relax our prayers.

Let us remain watchful and vigilant and to prepare for the rest of the storm which may be yet to pass over.

Love this – “Seeking Him in all situations for Godly wisdom and discernment so that we continue to press in and do not relax our prayers.”

This is such a timely reminder, Nicola. Once again, you sent me to my Bible to look up a passage. That’s twice in one day!

“Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when the Lord Jesus Christ is revealed.” 1 Peter 1:13 (NIV)

That is an excellent verse David. I was also reading 1 Peter yesterday and I was thinking of hope. Peter says to always be ready to give an answer for the hope we have but to be gentle with it. Have a blessed day.

This post is definitely a forewarning of what is to come; our world is being torn apart by wars and longs for peace. A Time will come soon when a man (the antichrist) will perform the impossible and bring peace…but it is only the eye of the storm. This will lead to the biggest war and the return of King Jesus in victory – hallelujah!

I had a dream 10/26/2013 where I saw a horse and rider galloping upon the earth as if he was riding upon the whole world, in fact I saw the earth as a globe, and not just upon the earth as one would normally see. I then saw him reach down and grab something like a blanket that had been covering the earth and pull it off. What I got in the dream as I now am writing this post is the word security blanket.

What came to mind is the following from Revelation:

And another, a red horse, went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from the earth, and that men would slay one another; and a great sword was given to him.
    (Rev 6:4)

However, in my dream, the horse was not red and it was not the horse that stood out in the dream but the rider’s actions, i.e., taking the security blanket from the earth.

What also comes to mind is a little child holding his blanket. I have grandchildren that do this and know that they have a fit when their “security blanket” is taken from them.

In these last days, our security is to be found in the Lord alone.
