Too painful to look..

Are you currently or have you been or experienced something so painful that you just couldn’t bear to look. It was or is too painful to bear the pain of looking.

God wants you to know today that God sees you. He is the God who sees everything.

God sees you.

God sees that pain, the hurt, the anguish and that painful situation that we can’t bear to see…God sees.

God sees you. God sees you right where you are.

God has not forsaken you. God has not abandoned you.

God will deliver you.

You may not be able to bear the pain or look at it yet but God sees it.

God will not let you down. God sees and God cares.

Hagar put her son Ishmael under a bush because she could not bear to look at him suffering and see him die. She had no hope left. Their desperate situation tore her to pieces in anguish but God saw and God heard the cries of her son.

I don’t know what your situation is or what you have been through but God does. God sees you today.

I pray that you will not give up hope but will find comfort and encouragement today that God is faithful, God is good and God will deliver you.

    A dream from 2013

I was wide awake last night 07/12/2013 at 3 am in the morning. What I had, I will call a night vision since I was not really asleep but it was at night. What I saw was a graveyard, however, this grave yard was not full of dead bodies as one might, instead, it was full of broken dreams. This is what I heard the place get called in the dream. To watch a dream, even one that God has given you, die is sometimes as painful as watching a loved one die. Especially when there is nothing you can do but watch them/it die. The grave is where we bury people, and as time passes, the memories fade. Those buried there, just as the dreams we once had are hidden from view which brings me to the next thing that happened in the dream. I heard a voice say, “that which has been hidden will soon be revealed”. What comes to mind is the story of Lazarus

That’s a powerful dream Tony and there are disappointments and broken dreams, promises, hopes in people’s lives are too painful to remember but God can take those and bring life to dead bones.

Your post hits close to home for me, Nicola. Our son’s struggle with mental health and substance abuse has recently reached a breaking point. After about a week of near constant worry, I was able to let go (if only just a little) to let God work. Still, the situation is iffy. (I’m not sure that’s a UK word, but it means uncertain.) I’m so thankful that God’s everlasting arms are there for his children to lean on!

Hi David, this was a word that the Lord gave me yesterday in our church service which I shared and there were many people that responded for prayer and came to talk to me afterwards about their situations. The word had encouraged and comforted them. I felt prompted by the Lord last night to share the word again. God sees to the ends of the earth and knows those who need that encouragement. Praying for you and your family.

God sees us, while we are in our mess and delivers us, gloriously. Such an encouragement to know that he sees and opens our eyes to his provision.
