The Women in my Life

It’s Mothering Sunday here in the U.K so I just wanted to thank God for the wonderful women that have been in my life and their love, nurturing care, inspiration, spiritual discipleship, kindness, discipline and fun. My Mum Pam, my Grandmother Elizabeth, my Nan Edna Bertha, all my Aunties -Jennifer, Violet, Joan, Margaret, Barbara, Marg, Frances. My great Aunts Mabel, Winnie, Lily and Cissie. All my teachers over the years. What blessings they have been to me.

My Mum Pam
Granny Elizabeth
Nan Edna
Aunties 3 – Joan, Barbara and Margaret – rocking those matching dresses
Aunty Vi- loving the pigtails
Nan Edna and sisters Mabel & Winnie
Aunt Jen as a young lady. We lost her too soon.

Yes I appreciate them much more now I’m older. Not so much when I was young and headstrong. Thanks for reading 😊

Understandable really… maturity brings much appreciation to that which one was blind to before.
